Protein bars are all the rage, but they are filled with hidden sugars and carbs. Not to mention preservatives and other chemicals that can be left at the science labs.
So why not make yer own! Here is how I make one of my favorite flavors Peanut Butter Espresso.
It is super simple:
2 Tbsp of Fiber syrup
1 Scoop of protein powder
2 Tsp of almond flour
1 Tbsp of Espresso nut butter
1 Tsp of sugar free chocolate chips
In a pan heat up the syrup with low heat until it just starts to bubble.
Add peanut butter and mix well
Remove pan from the heat and mix in protein powder and almond flour.
The mix will be loose add contents to a bag and kneed.
Place in a mold of your choice with chocolate chips.
Place in the fridge for an hour to settle.
